Find As You Type （元Type Ahead Find）を使うことで、ちょっとした文字を入力するとページ上にあるテキストをすばやく見つけることができます。この項目では検索対象をリンクテキストのみに制限するかを設定できます。

Find As You Typeを使って、リンクテキストのみを検索する。
また、この状態でShift+'（シングルクオート）による検索を行うとfalse（設定無効）の状態で検索できる。

Find As You Typeを使って、ページ全体を検索する。（デフォルト）

- Mozilla Firefox Aviary branch（鳥小屋ブランチ）では一時期機能が壊れていた （参照：bug 251073）。
[編集] UI上の設定方法
- Mozilla Suite
- “Edit → Preferences → Advanced → Keyboard Navigation → Find As You Type”にある、“Any text in the page” と “Links only” の下に位置しているラジオボタンでtrueとfalseの切り替えが可能です。
