[編集] 背景
Find As You Type （元Type Ahead Find）を使うことで、ちょっとした文字を入力するとページ上にあるテキストをすばやく見つけることができます。通常この機能は、リンクテキストを検索する際には'（シングルクオート）を、すべてのテキストを検索するには / （スラッシュ）を押すことで使用できますが、 文字を入力するだけで自動的にFAYTを動かすこともできます。

- この設定はFirefoxでは意味を成さない。（参考：bug 254592）
- Caminoでこの項目をtrueにすると、スペースを入力した際FAYTは閉じてしまう。（参考：bug 244175）

- Mozilla Suite
- “Find automatically when typing within a web page”にチェックを入れる。
- “Edit → Preferences → Advanced → Keyboard Navigation → Find As You Type”.
